About the Knox County Fair
We are overly excited to announce the 215th Knox County Fair. The Knox County Fair is the oldest fair in the state of Indiana! It has been an annual event since 1809. As a board of volunteers, we work all year to provide education, fun and exciting events to Knox County. The Knox County Fair is one of the only three fairs in the state that are not financially backed by the city or county. We work solely off donations from members of our community. The fair is a non-profit 501 c-3, tax deductible.
The mission of the Knox County Fair Board is to promote the importance of 4-H as an educational tool for our youth and to provide a safe arena for Knox County to display and exhibit projects. The Board offers use of the facilities to the entire community for appropriate events.
